Episode 3: Manx Wharton and Explorer Dastardly

This week on "Off the Shelf": Manx Wharton and Explorer Dastardly.

Manx Wharton is a creative force. In addition to writing image-rich poetry, he is also a talented artist and musician who has brought his work into Second Life. Manx talks about his work and his influences.

Explorer Dastardly is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, and she uses Second Life to share her mother's story. She discusses this experience as part of an oral tradition, as a memoir, and also how it has altered the mother-daughter relationship.
