On today's show, Kghia and Simeon interview Daniel Wallace, the New York Times bestselling author of Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Characters, as well as a dozen more books that explore the underpinnings of the STAR WARS™ universe, including Star Wars: The Essential Atlas and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.

He is a regular contributor to Star Wars Insider magazine and assembled the questions used in the Star Wars Trivial Pursuit game. His newest project, THE JEDI PATH: A MANUAL FOR STUDENTS OF THE FORCE, marks the first time Lucasfilm™ has authorized a book that comes from INSIDE the STAR WARS galaxy. This is the “last surviving copy” of a famous Jedi textbook that was all but eliminated following the Clone Wars.

Off the Shelf - Season 02 - Episode 11 - Rae Lori

In Episode 11 of this second season, Kghia and Simeon interview author Rae Lori. Rae is a prolific writer in several genres. She has written books, novellas and short stories that run the gamut of science fiction, fantasy, short roman noir, romance and paranormal under various pen names. Her manuscript, Hotel Sunset, won an Honorable Mention award in the 73rd Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition. Rae is also very active in Second Life, teaching writing classes at "The Written Word" and participating in roleplaying communities.

Off the Shelf - Season 2, Episode 09 - Cassandra Curtis

On Episode 9, in this second season, of Off the Shelf, Simeon and Kghia speak to writer Cassandra Curtis, who focuses on paranormal and erotic fiction.  In addition to being a writer, Cassandra has been a journalist, fine artist, teacher, film critic and a buyer for a clothing and jewelry store.  Cassandra won the 2006 Amber Quill Press Heat Wave Contest with her novella, Cup of Fate. In 2007, she was a finalist in the EPPIES (EPIC Awards) with her novella I Put A Spell On You.
